Independent 12-Week Clinical Study

The AlphaCleanse study results are in.

The independent research lab Citruslabs ran a 12-week study in which 40 adults aged 40 to 65 took AlphaCleanse every day. Here is exactly what changed in their digestion, their energy, and their liver-related blood markers.

How to read these numbers. Every result compares week 12 to where each person started. On the symptom and fatigue scales a lower score is better, so a minus sign means things improved (energy is the exception, shown as its improvement). A p-value under 0.05 means the change is statistically significant, so it is very unlikely to be chance.
Digestive & Fatigue Outcomes

Improvements that grew stronger every month

Participants filled out two validated questionnaires at the start and again at weeks 4, 8, and 12: the Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS) for digestion and the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory (MFI) for fatigue. On both, a lower score means fewer symptoms, so every result below is an improvement, and each one was statistically significant against baseline.

Digestive symptoms (GSRS)

What this means

Participants' digestive symptoms dropped by more than a third (GSRS −38.6%) and their fatigue by almost a quarter (MFI −24.0%), while they rated their own energy noticeably higher (+31.1%). Instead of leveling off, the improvements kept building from week 4 all the way to week 12.

Liver-Associated Blood Marker

A measurable change in the bloodwork

Everyone gave a blood sample at the start and again at week 12. One marker moved significantly: alkaline phosphatase, which is linked to liver health, fell from an average of 86.6 to 77.4 IU/L. The other liver markers (ALT, AST, albumin, and bilirubin) held steady over the 12 weeks.

Alkaline phosphatase (ALP)
86.6 down to 77.4 IU/L on average, baseline to week 12
−10.6%p=0.0145
What this means

Alkaline phosphatase, a marker tied to liver health, moved in a healthier direction. It was the only blood marker that changed significantly, and because a lab measured it rather than participants reporting it themselves, it is the most objective result in the study.

In Participants' Own Words

What people reported by week 12

At week 12, participants also rated their own experience. The figures below show how many agreed or strongly agreed with each statement. These are people's own impressions, not clinical measurements.

Experienced less bloating75.7%
Would like to keep using it75.7%

Improved digestive comfort62.2%
Feel physically fitter59.5%
Feel less sluggish56.8%
Overall health improved56.8%
Feel less irritable54.1%
Energy levels increased51.4%
What this means

What showed up on the scales showed up in daily life too. By week 12, 75.7% of participants said they felt less bloated, and 73% said they would recommend AlphaCleanse to family and friends.
